Which do you prefer? LCD monitors or CRT monitors? Well, if you’d ask me, I would definitely go with the LCD monitors because they are smaller in size and lighter in weight. And when it comes to image quality, it is considered to be better on an LCD monitor as each pixel is generated by a specific set of transistors in the screen, which produces a crisp image. Well, not only that, when it comes to being energy efficient, LCD monitors definitely hold the edge over CRT monitors. The huge tube in a CRT monitor is the source of most of its energy consumption, and a comparably sized LCD may use just a fraction of the electricity. Hmmm, the only thing which I don’t really like with LCD monitors is its quite bit pricey.
