One microfiber cloth can take the place of 60 rolls of paper towels before it needs replacing — and is gentle enough to use on nearly all surfaces (even eyeglasses). Keep a few handy for absorbing spills, wiping down counters, de-streaking mirrors, and more.
Bring your own travel cup to your favorite java point: Most places will fit it for you, and often at a discount. white you’re at it, start carrying a refillable water bottle.
Before you hit the “print” button for that party E-vite or web driving directions, consider your options: Could you print on the back side of paper you’ve already used once? Jot down just the address if you’re going t a familiar area? Or maybe use the “note” feature on your cell phone? If you prefer not to print double-sided, the backs of cut-up, once-used printer sheets make excellent by-the-phone notepaper.

Peanuts: Nature’s Multivitamins

Few people may know it, but peanuts are a great source of nutrients. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) lists proteins, carbohydrates, vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, iron, and zinc as nutrients found in peanuts. Some of the health benefits of peanuts include:
- Lowering the risk of heart disease. Peanuts are high in “good” or unsaturated fats that can help lower “bad” cholesterol levels in the body. Roasted peanuts also have folic acid, which helps lower the risk of heart disease.
- Reducing cancer risk. Resveratrol, an antioxidant first found in red grapes, is present in peanuts, and can help reduce cancer risk.
- Helping prevent Alzheimer’s. Peanuts have niacin, which aids brain health and blood flow. Peanuts help with the brain’s memory functions and help protect against Alzheimer’s disease.
- Aiding digestion. Fiber, which helps regulate the digestive system, is present in peanuts as well. Wating peanuts just a few times a week can prevent the formation of gallstones and lower the risk of colon cancer.

Fake Bullion
A few days ago I bought an item just to see what the fuss was all about. And I have learned a very harsh lesson that if it seems too good to be true then you can bet that it is and most likely to be a fake!

Quality Model Kits For A Great Price
I know that revell model kits are toys but I still went and bought one for my 55 year old Dad. He’s retired and I wanted to give him a new hobby. He loves reading about the planes and how they work.

Total Time Savers: Washing the Dog

Good Way vs. Good Enough
Good Way
1.) Pick your location: sink or tub (line the bottom with a rubber mat), kiddie pool, or even on a leash in the backyard, where you can use the hose. Have treats handy to reward cooperation.
2.) Brush out his fur before wetting him. A drop of baby oil can loosen sticky snarls (from, say, tree sap).
3.) Place a cotton ball in each of his ears. Soak him down using a shower nozzle, a hose adapter, or a plastic pitcher. Work a dab of dog shampoo (not yours) into his coat, starting behind the ears. Rinse. Wipe his face with a damp cloth. Step back for the inevitable shake.
4.) Wrap him in a towel to blot dry. Remove the cotton from his ears.
Good Enough
1.) If he’s more smelly than dirty, skip the water wash. Start with a brushing to release any tangles.
2.) Move outdoors so you won’t make a mess inside with the next steps. Mix a solution of half apple cider vinegar and half water in a clean spray bottle. Spritz on a microfiber cloth (not directly on the dog) and wipe your pup down, avoiding his eyes.
3.) Next, sprinkle your dog with baking soda. The powder won’t harm his skin, and its deodorizing properties will freshen his coat — and neutralize the vinegary smell.
4.) Let him shake a few times (prompt him by blowing gently in his ear), then brush his fur again.
