A floppy disk, also known as diskette, is a data storage medium that is composed of a disk of thin, flexible magnetic storage medium encased in a square or rectangular plastic shell. It has played a big role way back when CD’s, DVD’s and USB’s are still not available.

If you have tons of floppy disks (just like me) at home, don’t ever throw them. Please, don’t! You can still make use of them. Yes, you read it right. Eventhough you can’t use it as a “floppy disk”, you can actually transform it into something useful. Get some inspiration from these pictures:
