Bariatric Surgery for Uncle Boy

There was one time when my cousin told me something which they took-up in nursing class. For me it was quite interesting and I just remembered Uncle Boy (Lil Kimy’s Lolo-Tito) when I heard of this “bariatric surgery“. She told me it was a name for weight loss surgery, a type of procedure performed on people who are dangerously obese, for the purpose of losing weight. This weight loss is usually achieved by reducing the size of the stomach with an implanted medical device (gastric banding) or through removal of a portion of the stomach (sleeve gastrectomy or biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch) or by resecting and re-routing the small intestines to a small stomach pouch (gastric bypass surgery). Well, I guess this would be the best answer for my Uncle Boy’s problem. I just have to tell him about this, soon.
